The main problem is that it's usually guaranteed health loss and the knockback messes up your movement. And unlike a regular sentry destroying doesn't feel like you accomplished anything because the engineer can just throw up another one instantly.

I use minisentries for defending freshly-captured points and as clever traps/last-resort "OH MY GOD THERE'S 20 GUYS ON MY booty" moments.

I use mini-sentries as like an extremely annoying secondary weapon while I play Combat Engi with my Widowmaker.

I honestly don't think Heavies need nerfing. Really. It's completely fair that I should get ripped to shreds in half a second after performing a total ambush utilizing what burst damage is available to me on an otherwise completely clueless fatass. I'm fine with that.

Well yes, heavies are meant to be able to beat every other class at close range. You know, miniguns.

I like playing heavy alot because I can cause so much destruction if I get the right chance, a single heavy can decimate a team if he's good enough...with help form his friends of course.

Probably why I always go heavy in MVM, all the robots fall to the floor, and I can solo nearly any giant robot.

Which has me still sort of wondering what the Pyro is for, though not really. Not that I'm bitter. I do think the slower spinup/faster spindown idea would be a good change though. Gives the shotgun back some of its dignity among more than just hipster "fat Scouts".

Have yet to try MVM. Probably should.

Pyro is theoretically either an offensive ambush class or a defensive support class. Just don't ambush good heavies solo.

A nice Backburn or Puff-n-Sting should work 80% of the time.

And I like using shotgun as heavy because I usually run Beast or Heater.

I never set anything on fire as Pyro anymore. :/
Ironically, I am getting more kills as Pyro then my previous best.
