Ok so I have finally done it. I have edited the Animal Crossing pack to my liking. And if you want, you can try it out too. There are not much changes to it. Just solid rocks are now blue, gravel looks like gravel, and diamond blocks look like blue gold blocks.

Now, I know some people have been having problems with getting the animal crossing pack onto their computer. So I will try and make a step by step explanation on how to get the animal crossing pack.

I WARN YOU THOUGH, THINGS MIGHT GO WRONG, DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

EDIT: Before deleted Minecraft entirely try this!

Open winrar

go to appdata

roaming

.minecraft

and DELETE the options.txt

If this doesn't work. Dacheated the whole minecraft folder.

If something does go wrong, chances are you just have to delete your minecraft folder and reinstall minecraft.

^^^ IF YOU DO THIS SAVE YOUR WORLD FILES! ^^^

First, open minecraft, and go to proletariats and texture packs, make sure yours is set to default

Then open up the minecraft texture pack folder.

Now get one of these animal crossing packs.

animal crossing pack by dancrum of the minecraft forums.

My Edited Pack

My edit pack with Legend of Zelda items

My edit pack with LoZ items, art and armour

This one has replaced solid stone, blocks, chests crafting table from another pack.

My final pack (hopefully) It has blue solid stone. Gravel looks like gravel. Redone Diamond, iron and gold blocks. Taken from another texture pack. Chests, crafting tables and bookcases.

And place it in your texture pack folder.

You then download this little program

Once it has been downloaded, you will see a box like this

http://i.imgur.com/RmYiV.png

It doesn't look exactly like this, but it will do.

You click on texture pack browse, and select the animal crossing pack in your minecraft folder.

If you cannot get to it for some stupid reason like on my computer. Re download the animal crossing pack and place it in your documents, and use that file as the selected path.

Once you have selected the pack, you should be able to hit patch.

When it is done patching, you should hit test minecraft.

Well, if it works than a winner is you. If you get an error, you're SoL cause IDK wtf to do. Try asking the guy who made it for help by posting the error report.

Please remember that you cannot play online while running minecraft test mode. Close those and try to play.

If I missed anything please tell me.

Just solid rocks are now blue, gravel looks like gravel, and diamond blocks look like blue gold blocks.

Honestly the purple blocks were a huge eyesore for me, they didn't match the cobblestone or the stairs at all.

I'm actually going to make another change to my pack... I'm making the items Legend of Zelda, since this pack has no items that really are different than the original, and inks and shit are invisible.

Now I broke my game... oops.

SUCCESS!

I have now added art and armour to my pack.

I downloaded a clean pack, giving everything a nice vector-esque cell shaded look.

In the meantime, to get on minecraft
Try to log on, it will probably tell you that you can't connect, click try again, and try again and it should work.
it's worked for me consistently.

However I'm not having the same luck getting on the server itself, but it worked eventually

I'm probably gonna end up editing these a bit
making glass a bit more see through with less random white pixels, make diamonds stand out more, and I don't think sandstone is edited in this, but i could be wrong

Well. I think I'm finally pop flyin' with this pack, time to use it for a bit and see how it goes. I'll throw it up on the top page with the rest of my random links.

The chasm is almost close in Classy island and I will need you two to show me what to blow up next

Gig gig giggity goo
