I feel like the only reason I'm not incredibly good at this game by now is because the hit detection is so off sometimes. I was almost bodaciously pressing up against a spy, waving my fish at him, my cursor was square on his chest, there was no reason I couldn't hit him yet I couldn't all the same. He was trying to shoot me, but couldn't because apparently the same reason. There was no reason for either of us to miss so consistently, but we were. He pulls out the knife out, swings once, and facestabs me.

And this kind of thing happens all the fucking time.

The melee hitdetection is kind of atrocious yeah. It doesn't help that the netcode isn't great either.
