Well the arcade in my city has a Divekick cabinet in it, so I always assumed it was running a PC inside.

But that does sound weird coming out of Japan, where arcade machines are supposed to be god tier.

I remember watching someone play it on a stream years ago. It didn't look enjoyable. It also seemed incredibly frustrating, as the streamer had to retry some fights many times. I remember one late-game fight took him well over 20 tries.

The Mianite series is coming back with Season 2, which I'm pretty pop flyin' about. Also, a bunch of Youtubers I like are now playing Don't Starve Together which is awesome. I just hope that at least one of the groups are good enough to survive through the winter, lol.

I wish that the Best Friends had given Melty Blood and Arcana Heart a full hour of their time. I don't have high hopes of them doing BlazBlue anytime soon because of this. They'd just play as Bang Shishigami all day anyways since he's the one that fits the most with their tastes.

Yeah, I'd have liked to have seen more of Arcana Heart. They didn't even get through the whole cast.

And I barely saw any of the summons/Arcana(?) being used in the fights. Unless it was having an effect on their movesets and I just didn't notice.

Well most of them were basically just half-jazzed for the games. They could acknowledge that there were some cool mechanics and some of the characters were alright, but generally the character designs were not really up most of their alleys.

They've already expressed their opinions on Blazblue (basically guilty gear but with shittier characters) so you can probably expect a similar video to these if they do a FNF for it. Hell I love Blazblue, but I completely understand their opinion on the games. I'm not a fan of the story and some of the characters are super duer meh imo

Yeah, I remember reading a story summary for the first BlazBlue and it was... something.

They'll probably play it eventually (if only because it's well known and there'll eventually be a week where they have nothing else), and I won't mind if they rag on it too hard. The only thing will be the hundreds of "YOU DON'T LIKE THE THING I LIKE SO SCREW YOU" guys shouting at them.

It'd be interesting to hear their thoughts on it in more detail someday. All I can remember from them regarding the game is "It's slow" and "Too many subsystems."

I'm pretty sure 'the J word' is the slur for a Japanese person.
