It's harder to go under goals. It took me ages to remeber you can ditch Yoshi mid air to get a second jump. Stupid Cheese Bridge Area. Then Soda Lake, which is swarming with Torpedo Teds.

I beat Bowser yesterday~ Shame it's one of those things you can't save, though.

Seriously, do I have to keep renewing the activity here? It's-a freaking MARIO, why don't you guys talk about it more? Geeze.

Here's some more great fan-stuff. Super Mario Bros in comic form. It is a retelling of the NES game and the comic itself gets better with each page [and is currently ongoing]. I highly reccomend it~

Huh. I thought that comic was dead, and then couldn't find the artist anymore.

Bout daisies time we got a se-

>Sidescroller with Image Tilesets
>Tiny-booty models
>Just New super mario bros. with a powerleaf

Eeeh, i can't help but feel this is a bad idea, the 3DS has major amounts of potential and all i see are boring, generic tilesets.

I'd like a 2d Mario game like those small 2d Segments in Mario Galaxy, but wider and more open. That'd be awesome.

Remember the game was only just announced, so more features might be on the way.

The other complaints are 100 percent accurate, though.

It would be really nice to see a "galaxy" themed 2D mario game, using different gimmicks here and there.

The graphics for NSMB2 at least look nicer than the DS original, which was a lot more grainy.

Not sure what Nintendo is going to do with the 3D, might be cool to see them pull of doing what they tried with the virtual boy, having Mario flip back and forth between the foreground and the background.

However, it looks interesting at least.

I'm currently digging 3D right now. First Mario I've picked up since Sunshine. SMB3, SMW, and SM64 will always be my Holy Trinity of the classic style Mario games.

A personal favorite of mine is Mario Tennis for the N64. I can destroy any of my friends on that. Best tennis game ever.

I feel like I should point out that 'Super Mario 4' probably isn't going to turn out to be a new game. For one thing, we haven't had a 'Super Mario 3', 'Super Mario 2' or even just a plain 'Super Mario', since the title usually has another word in it (Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Galaxy, etc.). And it's unlikely to be a short version of Super Mario Bros. 4, since that was what Super Mario World was called in Japan (as far as I know). It's probably just going to be another thing trademarked but not actually used, like those names for various Cockfighting Society games they've trademarked.

If you're counting upcoming Mario games, Mario Tennis Open is coming out soon, I think, and while this is technically still only speculation, we can be pretty confident there will eventually be a new Mario Kart for WiiU

Man what if Super Mario bros. 4 turns out to be some sort of Mega Man 9-esque rebirth of a retro game.

The background is looking really neat, good job!

However, I think the music only fits the theme after 00:40, and even though I like the orchestrated beginning, I don't think it would be fitting.

That might just be me, though.
