I finally have to disagree with Jon on one point(two if you count hating Skyward Sword). He hates it when platformers have a bunch of secrets and extras and you can't just run through it, but I don't necessarily see anything wrong with that.

I really think the main reason behind so many people disagreeing with Arin and Jon's opinions is that they were born in the 80's, so their perception of good game design comes from that era.

Chip and Ironicus' blip account got deleted for some reason, and now Chip is doing his best to get all of the videos back up.

C&I's Blip account got deleted because Blip actually really dosn't like LP's, because it isn't "Original Content" in thire eyes. I can understand it from a legal perspective, but it's still dumb when you consider shows like Fanservice Fiesta (ugh).

Is there actual evidence that Blip hates LPs?

I just remember LPers at SA talking about issues with Blip here and there. I can't really cite any specific example, but I do remember it being an issue. It really comes down to the question of how legal LPs are in the first place, and considering that it makes logical sense that Blip wouldn't like LPs, but I don't have any real evidence, so.

From my understanding of Blip, it's a site that hosts series that come in episodes, kind of like TV except on the internet. They don't really give a shit about much else, which is why hosting LPs on Blip is a pain. You have to fill out the forms very carefully because one slip-up and they'll say no and pull your videos. Viddler's not an option either since they're now a site where you pay to host your stuff and Vimeo is Vimeo.

Pat Woolie and Rising Superstar Liam are playing Metroid Fusion and they won't shut the fuck up about Other M.

I'm getting disproportionately mad about video games, guys.

Eh. There's only so much you can say about Other M, and there's still plenty of stuff you can talk about regarding Metroid Fusion in and of itself without comparing and contrasting it to Other M.

There is only some much you can say about Other M.

There is a lot you can say about the people you disagree with, and the strawmen you've constructed.

Pat Woolie and Rising Superstar Liam have chosen option two.

And don't get me wrong, I love the shit out of Fusion: it's a good game. But Fusion's success are not excuses for Other M's failures, and this is the argument Pat Woolie and Rising Superstar Liam have chosen regardless of this fact.

At least there's plenty more Chrono Trigger and Eternal Darkness for them to run through.

Also, these guys over here are doing Let's Plays that are both heavily informative and quite hilarious.

In their latest part of the Metroid Fusion playthrough, Matt talked about how Other M ruined everything "from a thematic story point [of view, I'm guessing]" and Liam agreed with him on that.

There's hope for this series yet.

Eternal Darkness looks so cool that I feel kind of conflicted about watching an LP of it because I want to play it myself.
