Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem is what that thing was. Also aren't all fire emblems the weeb edition?

It's the SMT crossover, it's being branded as a game with original SMT-esque protagonists using the powers of Fire Emblem characters



Anyway, the only significant part of the Digital Event for me was the Paper Mario/Mario & Luigi crossover, and BOY DID THAT DELIVER

Otherwise, besides the new Zelda: Triforce Heroes and Hyrule Warriors Legends, with the exception of Star Fox because even though I'm not going to play it it still looks cool, that was pretty underwhelming

But I liked the puppets

Also Squeenix really bombed with that Kingdom Hearts Mobile, at least showing off KH3 was good for damage control

Pretty sure I'm one of the few people actually excited for SMTxFE...

They probably should have had subtitles for that trailer though.

They're playing Federation Forces right now at the Treehouse. This looks like it could be a decent game if it weren't branded with the Metroid name, but it's pretty much the antithesis of everything Metroid is.

SMTxFE looks like complete garbage and honest to god, i find that to be the most hilarious thing i've ever encountered

They're showing more of Mario and Luigi Paper Jam.

It's definitely more of a M&L game than a Paper Mario game tho

That Digital Event really was Nintendo's weakest part of the whole E3.

Starfox looks cool, that Mario and Luigi and Paper Mario game is kinda neat, and the updates on the previous announced games were nice, but everything else announced was kinda underwhelming.

Contrast that with the Nintendo World Championship, the Smash Bros DLC Direct, or the Treehouse that's going right now.

They should've shown more Zelda Wii U, even if it's post early-2016.

My guess is that they want M&L to be the new "Mario RPG" and threw Paper Mario in there to hold his own fort while they try to think of something more notable and original for him to be in. Though I still think normal TTYD/64 style Paper Mario would be just fine along with M&L.
*pushes away fact that I haven't played any either first two Paper Mario games*
Though I wish they'd have another interesting villain like they usually do (Like Fawful or Dimentio). Two Bowser's doesn't seem that interesting, but I think it's the least of any potential problems.

You act as if both Bowsers With PersonalityTM collaborating and clashing with each other won't have the best dialogue ever in both series

Also we don't know the entire story yet, there could be something else
