So far, my favorite ambassador game would be Fire Emblem: The sacred stones. I find it fun and strategic (or I'm convincing myself to see it being strategic).

Sacred Stones is probably my favorite FE game.

Fire Emblem: Sacred stones is my favorite ambassador game, no doubt. I'm at a part which annoys me since I have to choose: Go with Erika on a boat or go with her brother instead to the Grado main capital. I decided the bro, but I hate decisions like that.

I always played as Ephraim on my GBA. He's such a bro to me.

Always felt like Erika had the better entourage.

I never use characters you get late in the games. I enjoy using the people you get early, at a low level and raise all the way up. Just like I never use the Classed up cavaliers you get at the very beginning. (Paladins?)

Yeah Seth is a Paladin. You shouldnt use him either because itll just leech xp that your other 1st class characters need. Theyll eventually outpace him anyway, hes just a crutch for the begining of the game. Also a fantastc meatshield with no weapons

alright so while seth is attacking from long range with javelins and fucking up anything that gets near him because he kills everything in one hit, and what he dosen't immediately kill he kills within the same turn due to being faster than everything, you can go ahead and slowly level everyone else up and not use one of the best characters

Best character? Oh nonono. That honor is reserved for the 3 recruits. Seth has one of the worst stat totals, hes only crazy buffed compared to everything else in the first 10 chapters. Like I said, a crutch. Its not the first FE to do that with a paladin at the begining.

So, apparently, when sacred stones says, 53% chance of hitting it means like, 85.

Yeah, Titania from PoR, Seth from SS, and Jagen from Shadow Dragon are all experience sponges. They take away precious easy experience early in the game from characters that need it, characters that will eventually be better. That's why I take away their weapons and healing potions and give them to characters that need them, and use the Paladins as meat shields, because as MC said, that is what they are best at.

Plus having such a fucking beast that early takes the fun out of it for me.

I keep rage quitting Chapter 5 because Joshua (or whatever that mercenary's name is) attacks Seth and dies and I want to ally with him already

I think you have to talk to him with that healer you get that level if you don't know that already.
Also visit the house in the bottom right corner of the level to get an item to boost your defense.
