Been playing some Fire Emblem.
I've never played one of these games before, and I must say I'm intrigued.

Yeah, I mean when multiplayer is the main focus then why would it even matter if it worked or not.

it's just being a dick to complain that the biggest part of a game is non-functional huh

Plus, I don't remember much complaining going on when people found out that the DS couldn't support GBA multiplayer, despite being able to play most GBA games. This is pretty much the same thing.

Also, it's not like Nintendo hasn't told us that the GBA games were going to have no changes to them, unlike the NES games which will eventually going to be updated with mutiplayer when they were released to everyone else. Part of "no changes" includes not fixing multiplayer to be online or local wireless.

I don't collect faces in my book, but the idea of updating the browser excites me.

Please, Nintendo, give us Youtube compatibility next.

I've been playing Metroid Fusion on my 3DS thanks to the ambassador games.

And holy shit guys, it is awesome.

Decided to buy a point card for my 3DS, it was a Dsi one aand thought the card would work, just converting the points into cheddar. I tried to double check if it would work on my phone, but it didn't load fast enough. I checked after the fact and it said no. So I tried to return it, and turns out its non-refundable, even though I bought it MINUTES ago. So now I have this card that has absolutely no use.

Why the fuck did nintendo change their system from points to actual cheddar (which charges TAX) and then decide not to do a simple task of just being able to convert point cards into cheddar on the 3ds?

Dick move, nintendo.

Yes, because when a company decides to use real cheddar instead of a round-about dumbshit points system and you don't get the message they're assholes!

Seriously come on how did you not even know that. There are like no points to be found anywhere on a 3DS. Not to mention the existence of separate 3DS cards, and the part where it says on the card itself what systems it works with and the 3DS Store isn't even on there.

I thought it would just convert the points into cheddar. I mean seriously how hard is it to do that. And with the point system they never charged you tax and had a simple system of 100 points is a dollar.

Because the codes work differently. If I remember correctly, the e Shop codes have more digits to them.

Plus, they'd have to make it to where the codes can't be used twice (I.E. in the DSi shop and the e Shop). They did the same thing with Wii Point cards, where you couldn't use them with the DSi, and you had to either buy a DSi card (which lasted like 3 months) or buy a Nintendo points card that worked for either.

Your last staement is wrong. I'm pretty sure a wii card works on the DSi and vice versa.

Nope!

They're the same kind (at least in the us) but any cards printed before the DSi came out won't work with it. They did merge the two, but there's still a difference in the way the cards are coded and you should still check the card before you use it.
