I'm actually not really bothered with the GBA resolution on my 3DS. It doesn't look all that blurry to me.

F-Zero is almost impossible to win even on Beginner. daisies turning.

So I just beat Cave Story on DSiWare for the very first time yaaaay (failing to save Curly or get the Booster 2.0, Spur, OR Nemesis)

Loved it. Thinking about buying for either WiiWare (for Curly Mode) or 3DS.

Does the 3DS version have anything to offer that the original and DSiWare versions don't? Aside from the graphics, obviously. I just don't want to spend forty bucks on a game I already own.

I say get cave story + on steam than waste cheddar on the 3DS version.

Yeah, go for Cave Story+.

It's a direct port of the wiiware version with even more added content (Wind Fortress and Nemesis Challenge with promised future updates) and I'd reccomend it wholeheartedly.

And it's in the Humble Indie Bundle 4 if you pay above average- almost certainly less than the Steam price of $10.00.

Cave Story 3D actually has less content than the wiiware and steam versions despite costing far more.

Use the B button with conjunction of L & R to make better turns.
