yeah I did that too but the [spoiler]phantoms would hit me THEN die in the sand. And yes, I think the puzzles are much better in this game. :D And I think the items aswell - rather than getting a shovel you get a whirlwind, a boomerang and a snake whip and then a sand wand! (I havn't got the last yet though) Now, off to the fire area thingy[/spoiler]

Yeah that is a bit annoying.

I am disapointed that I already have all the songs. After the initial "HUR BLOWONG SUX" they are fun to play, they are all pop flyin' tunes and you can play them really quickly, like one breath and a flick plays them all.

But in this game your' not really digging for stuff often - I myself have only had 1 use I think for that song.

[spoiler]Fucker popped out of a jar and kept spitting me into the water, then sucking me up when I respawned. I ran away on 1 heart and had to use my potion because that picky-booty-niggabitch Spirit of Healing wouldn't help because LOL IT AINT DUNGEON BOY U GOT SUM PROB LEEMS[/spoiler]

Shee, this fire dungeon was pretty tough. But I liked the boss. Almost as awesome as the boss from PH that you have to use the bow and arrows against.

Does the Song of Birds even do anything? I have no idea.

Also, Tower of Spirits:
[spoiler]Maybe I'm exaggerating, but the very final visit definitely ranks as probably the most confusing and long-winded puzzle of any Zelda game. Yeah I just spent about two hours on it, oh my god. Then again, I made a mistake once....Whatever, anyone else think it was a really tough couple of floors?[/spoiler]

Also, with Like-Likes:
[spoiler]I don't think they can eat the Shield of Antiquity, which is totally handy if you get 10 stamps in time.[/spoiler]

Yeah that song for healing is actually quite useful. This fire temple is hard. :(
