Beat Mom's Heart on the first try, pretty underwhelming fight since charm of the vampire kept me healthy. Brimstone pretty good too.

I'm not gonna bother with beating the game another 9 times to progress though, that's pretty retarded (yeah I know about the shovel and devil room, but RNGing that shit doesn't appeal to me either). So I think I'm done with the game for now and gonna pick up Rebirth when it's on sale.

Rebirth makes the whole game a lot harder to begin with so it might actually be a good choice to not get too muscle memoried from the original.

One shotting Satan feels sooooo good.

Had a great run going with that one guy and who appears on the catacombs? Fucking Polycephalus.

Can that combine with brimstone?

Yes it can, but it'd essentially be the same effect. I had that thing so daisies wonky at the end (slow, fire, poison, vroom worm, just pure insanity) that it killed It Lives in less than 5 seconds, and Satan just as fast.

I got that once! But I managed to die because I wasn't paying attention to a thing shooting laserbeams at me from the side.

Just had one of my best runs ever, didn't get Dark Boy because I got hit once by a shot from Mom's eye door thing, didn't get Dead Boy because double Adversary rooms apparently still take a ton of time even if you have Brimstone, Guppy and every Damage upgrade you can get from Devil Deals. That room took about as much time as ???, which is not a lot with what I had but enough for them to hit me with one of their bullshit curving brimstone shots. God dammit.

Huh, cool. I got the Dark Boy thing a few days ago without even realizing it.

So, finally got Eden through all the way to Isaac. I got a lucky roll on her and got Dr. Fetus and Ipecac from the very start. Want to talk about an OP mix? Didn't take explosive damage and the ipecac made the bombs explode on contact, killing the need to wait like you do with the normal dr fetus power up.

I was playing BoI at break in school today, and had a truely ridiculous run with Cain, starting with finding Brimstone in the first cursed room. I found the shovel later on and decided to go kill Satan. Disposed of him without much trouble. So now I'm officially done with the game since I'm not much of an achievement whore. Still below 100 deaths too. Think I'm gonna pick up Rebirth now since it's a pretty good game to play in short bursts.

Got Rebirth and beat Satan on my 5th run. Another absurd run with Cain where I got the Prayer Card and 9 volt battery right at the start, racked up devil deals and maxed out health. Does that still count as beating Mom's Heart for the first time as well, since I didn't open that chest?

As long as you killed it it should count. Did you unlock an item right after it died?
