in the mario world babies are delivered by a literal stork so that's more than likely how all that happened

So storks did it?
Storks make all of the babies, and then deliver them.

That means every single womb born creature came from storks.

Ok, at the risk of being extremely mushy, a possible explaination may beeeeeeeeee:

When a couple are in love and are ready to have a child, in a magical realm a phyiscal form takes place, the baby. The storks are in charge of this realm and deliver babies to the parents. The babies also come at least partially dressed ( Mario and Luigi had their hats!! ) to help the parents.

Or something. The most explaination we get is the openings and endings of Yoshi's Island and DS. They just say 'Stork flies to parents to deliver (as in post) the babies.'

I still like the idea that Jr. is accually Bowser's clone. They (Baby Bowser and Jr.) look almost the same!

Maybe Bowser adopted all the Koopa Kids - or they're from a string of unsuccessful relationships he got into (with other Koopas(?)) on the 'rebound' from Peach.

I prefer that to him humping Peach and/or him reproducing asexually.

Yoshi lays eggs. Who's to say Bowser doesn't in a similar manner? I mean, they're both practically from the same species (reptile/dragon).

I would say they're from the same ancestry, not species.

But yeah, Yoshi is one messed up puppy.

Laying eggs suggests ovaries so either all egg-laying Yoshis are female or there's some hermaphroditism going on there.

Or it could just be a videogame, whatever works.

In a similar way, Birdos probably have the same eggs-for-both-genders rule.

I always considered only the females being able to lay fertile eggs, whereas the male and throwing-only eggs are either infertile or some form of superdigested food...which kinda makes it poop.

Ok, so now we seem to have stopped discussing how Bowser got his kids or Yoshi poop, I have some news~

I got Super Mario World yesterday and it's so totally awesome!! I used to play short gos at my Aunt's house several years ago and it has been one of my favourite games ever since then, and now I finally have it on the Wii~ I've gotten up to Wendy's Castle, and I've done some optional levels and all the Star World levels, both exits. I could have skipped straight to Bowser's castle, but this is my first full playthrough ever and I want to do as many of the levels as I can.

The main trouble I have is that I can't seem to master the cape. I know you can cross the whole level by doing this swooping motion, but I keep free-falling instead. Any tips?

To start, you need a long enough flat piece of land to run. When you're running fast enough, jump.
Do not let go of the jump button at any time.
Press left when you start sinking.

Thanks~ I could float for a reasonable distance, but I didn't know how to keep it going, so I'll try the left trick next time~~

If you have the right rhythm you can pretty much stay at the same altitude for the whole level.

But you're usually almost outside of the window anyway so going even higher wouldn't really do anything for you.
