I am amazed at the number of Oblivion sex proletariats. Are people that desperate for porn?

Did you just ask that over the internet?

I sneaked into an inn today (no one notices the door opening and closing on its own, I guess) only to discover the inn keeper was sleeping and an imperial guard was standing over her watching her sleep.

He bodaciously just stood there the whole time I ransacked the place. Even as I was stealing stuff right off the counter beside him, he was like "Nope, I'm going to be a fucking creep and leer over this sleeping woman."

Eventually she woke up after I finished locking picking all the rooms and looting anything I deemed valuable enough and the guard awkwardly scrambled away as though even the coding knew what he was doing was fucking creepy.

I kinda regret not screencapping it but I couldn't really get into a good angle to show he was staring at her without standing beside him, and I didn't want to risk alerting him to my presence and have him start wandering around while I tried to rob the place. It was a much better decision to leave him to his creepy obsessive stare over the inn keeper, I think.

Also I have yet to run into a single problem with the guards since I haven't bothered to murder people in their sleep after pickpocketing them. If I murder someone? It's a 50/50 chance a guard will be right outside the door, ready to arrest me. If I don't? I can walk right up to a guard, threaten his life until we're buddies, and go about my business with pockets full of stolen fruit and vegetables.

CHEESE THE KAHJIIT LIVES SUCH AN INTERESTING LIFE.

I installed some proletariats to Oblivion today.

The first prevents me from starting the main quest; I arrive on a boat in Anvil and begin my journey there. If I am ever sent to prison in the imperial city, the main quest starts.

The second adds cats around the area. They're really atmospheric. I saw one pushing a horse.

The third adds 60 new weather effects as well as making the current weather effects more atmospheric.

The fourth allows me to bribe guards, and it increases my bounty if I fail the bribe.

Anyway I was thinking of doing an LP here somewhat akin to living in oblivion since I installed all the proletariats that it was using, and its updates are a little slow to say the least.

Thoughts?

I think that'd be pretty cool. I love Livin' in Oblivion, but it... doesn't really update so much.

I'd like to see a hero actually try his hardest to become famous after starting from nothing, not just a bunch of stuff given to him

Well, if I were you, I wouldn't do it because it would simply be an imitation of something that already exists. Also there are already two LPs of the same game on the forum.

But I'm not you.

I was actually going to download some of those proletariats and play a wimpy douchebag. I'd steal everyone's shit and possibly kill them in their sleep but if anyone tried to fight me I'd just RUN AWAAAAYYYYY.

We already have a vanilla, evil Oblivion playthrough, and a modded, good Oblivion playthrough though. And you're essentially just doing the exact same thing as Livin' In Oblivion, but I assume your NPC won't look as fish-faced and you didn't install hunger proletariats(?). I'd personally like to read it, but I'd also like to post my own adventures as a wimpy douchebag. But I'm not.

Okay, I am a super retard, but has anyone installed COBL? It looks like a cool mod, but I get texture errors when I play, even though I've taken out all the files.

You could always just post snippets in the big LP thread, unless that got locked or something.

Then you don't have to report the boring stuff and just the interesting stuff.
