Honestly I don't see why there is such high demand for Sonic.

How about a Nintendo character that deserves it: Diddy Kong.

Just thought of someone, maybe a replacement for Roy: Ike.

I personally hate Sonic because all his 3D games were horrible. I'd really like Little Mac to be in SSBB.

Diddy kong would be an interesting addition to say the least.
He'd probably just be a faster, weaker, and smaller DK.

Diddy Kong has been playable in many of the Mario Sports games, in 2 of the three Donkey Kong Country games (more than DK himself), has his very own racing game, and more.

I think he deserves a spot more than, say, Zero Suit Samus, Pit, or Snake.

For me, just switch out Roy or Marth for Ike.

I'm curious as to why Zelda has no sword. In the cutscene in TP where Zant invades the throne room, she's clearly holding one; thus it's a logical conclusion she knows how to use it, at least to a certain degree.

Ganondorf has a sword too--it even showed up during his victory screen--but he never actually fought with it. It looks like Zelda's keeping her old moveset from Melee anyway, which wouldn't work with a sword.

A SWORD mode would be cool, like how they had all those special modes in Melee.

Give every character a sword and characters who already use swords, you get a new sword.

Or not. It'd be just as entertaining if they all held Wii Remotes that turn into blunt instruments of pain.
