How's the shooting part? I found it horrible in the first game (even though there was an in-universe explanation for it).

The tutorial is some of the best design I have ever seen in a video game. The graphics are beauyifful. The world looks alive, and the characters are fantastic.

There may be kneejerk reactions, but this is a good game. This is quite easily the best game in the series, and it deserves a lot of the praise it gets.

The problem though is that it may indeed be a good game but if the hype becomes too much then an inflated expectation is created that the actual game may not be able to match. This creates a disparity between what the world seems to be saying and what your own personal experience is.

Never inflate the good qualities of a game without tempering them with some bad. No game is perfect.

Gut. They made the formula work pretty well in 2 and now they slightly improved it again. Only being able to carry two weapons is a bummer though.

Elizabeth's a real multi purpose tool. She finds cheddar and items, can pick locks and would probably beat Usain Bolt in a 100-meter dash.

the first five minutes in Columbia more like “I hope the whole game is just this, forever, with no enemies”

Sounds good. Cause the slow, inaccurate firing of those 50+ years in water lying guns was no fun.

Vigors are used a bit less often than plasmids were though because your vigor bar is limited and you can't carry health or salt packs so if you run out of vigor in a fight, the only way to get it back is by scrounging for salt. I preferred how it was in 1 and 2 where you could carry lots of both packs but one bar was worth less.

Even with the hype, this game is perfect.
It had my highest expectations and far exceeded them.

That ending.
I totally called it, but was still surprised as fuck.

out of 10

Oh god im going to play through it again aren't I?hell yes

I got to download it early, and have been playing it all day.

I tried my best to search for extras and explore as much as possible, but the story drove me to try and get through it as fast as possible.

Definitely worth 2 playthroughs.

Might make a lets play out of it.

well NOW it's the 27th for me. It's 5 a.m. on the 27th here. But that's still barely over 24 hours since it's been out.

Yeah, I started at 10pm in the 25th and beat it around 10:30ish today.
Total game time i think was about 9-11 hours.

beat tomb raider in about that time.
