I got to Sheol on my second ever run of Rebirth. And won. Can i get some kind of prize for accidentally sequence breaking

Hard mode is hard. Guess I'll unlock all the normal mode stuff first.

Edit: I got to the last boss.
You won't know true desperation unless you die by laser beam and see a second after the animation that he dies too. If only I didn't go to another room to charge up my book of Revelations where I got hit twice. Fuck. And then Guppy's collar brought me back with half a heart. Yeah sure, I'll beat Mega Satan with half a heart, I'm not a fucking scrub after all.
Another Edit: Did it now. Sacred heart + plenty of damage, tears and shot speed upgrades, also for some reason a ton of eternal hearts dropped so I got to max health pretty fast.

GAAWWWW, was about to beat Mom for the first time in the original game to prep for Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, and I was having an incredible run, I found Laser Tears on the 2nd level, then Forever alone, and then the compass, a Dollar, and BLOODY X-RAY! I was incredibly pimped out and I was getting all sorts of upgrades thanks to this, and I died on Mom when I was just about to win.

Guh, never gonna have a run that good ever again.

Don't worry man. It probably took me 100 runs when I first started to beat mom.

I finally got around to beating Mom today, let me share with you my secrets:

Step 1. Get the Sun Card
Step 2. Use it on Mom

And I'm still struggling getting to Isaac on normal mode. Doesn't help that I seem to get the worst of the worst items with ??? and that isn't as managable as with a character with red hearts. I really don't want to know how long it'll take me to get wins with the secret character.

Edit: HA! My gamble worked! Every time I complain about something in this thread I manage to overcome it like 10 minutes later. Also I got golden God now. Dark Bum + Child's heart = unpatched Dark Bum.

Unlocked the secret character. Not gonna touch that guy with a ten foot pole until I'm better at not getting hit stupidly.

Beat mom thanks to a few Devil rooms and lucky HP Ups, and The Priestess(or whatever Tarot Card that makes Mom hit you, it deals half of Moms damage if used on herself.) unlocked the Womb.

That took way less time than I thought.

The Priestess only targets you when there are no enemies in the room I think.

I know, it still did its job and lowered Moms health to half, that thing was what won me the game...

except the womb

or the cathedral.

I have so much to do now...

Playing as The Lost is the most stress inducing thing I've experienced in awhile.

My reaction to every single item room, boss reward and Deal with the devil since I started playing as The Lost: This bodaciously does nothing for me. Or just general crap.
Yeah, furthest I got after 50 tries was Depths 1 with Mom's knife, followed by a Brimstone run and a Holy Mantle run that ended on Catacombs 2 each.

I just beat Heart and Cath with The Lost my heart is pounding.

The worst thing when playing as that guy are all kinds of spiders and enemies that shoot those vomit bullets where I can never really tell where they land.

I've spend so much time playing The Lost I should probably finish the rest of the game first.
