I had the same problem, but I made a strategy for beating it.

1. Deal enough damage till it chases you.
2. Wait for it anywhere other than a corner.
3. Quickly dodge/evade it as it charges at you head-on.

By waiting, you can work out the best time to flick the joystick.

It's such an easy boss but it can really drain health and you'll prolly go in with very little health and it is very bad.

I found the game fun from start to finish. The only thing I didn't like was the final boss battle. Why do you have to be flying throughout the whole thing, and only land for some annoying event that forces you to keep the reticule (which keeps moving) on Hades while he does nothing but charge up some attack.

Has anyone else seen the Nintendo Video shorts about this game?

Here in Aus both Thanatos rising and Medusa's Revenge have been broadcast, and I've seen the beginning of Palutena's Revolting Dinner.

Opinions so far:

Thanatos Rising- Clever dialog and such marred by bad audio-video synching and slightly bland 3D animation. Mediocre.

Medusa's Revenge: Absolutely beautiful animation combined with a seriousness the game's plot lacks. Great.

Palutena's Revolting Dinner - Embodies the witty dialog and sheer ridiculousness of the game itself with great anime visuals not unlike Medusa's Revenge. Also great.

I found every track in the Chaos Kin arc to be great.

Ao, how many levels have you guys beaten on 9.0? I've handled the first 3 chapters.
