God if this has the same kind of effect on me as the Brawl trailer did back in 2006 then I can't WAIT.

The Konami Pre-E3 Press happened. Here's an update on my report card.

F?! After The Phantom Pain and Lord of Shadows 2? Hmm…

Lords of Shadows didn't quite catch my appeal and Phantom Pain was more about "look how realistic we can make Snake talk".

Also, didn't show much, if at all, gameplay footage.

I have to wait 'til Tuesday for Nintendo Direct? I was expecting it would be released today.

If the team developing Smash have ties to Namco I would expect to see some Namco IP characters at least (I'm not massively familiar with characters in Namco's IP folder but I think they made a Mario Kart Arcade game that featured Pac-Man).

I read a rumour Smash's battle system is going to be changed up a bit (percentages out maybe?), but the same rumour also claimed that Little Mac was a confirmed character.

We'll get confirmation come Tuesday I guess.

I expect Sonic is a must and that Konami guy (Hideo Kojima?) supposedly begged for Snake to be in Brawl so we'll see them both make a return (no complaints here).

Rumours about Mega Man's inclusion will no doubt spread like wildfire again (as per the norm re: Brawl).

I'm thinking I'll just get the 3DS version - not seen enough to make me want a Wii U yet.

Another Smash dojo would be fun.

I've heard that Palutena is a semi-popular choice among some fans for inclusion in Smash 4. While creating a moveset might be hard (and not even getting into the plot logistics of having an actual Goddess as a fighter... not that fighting games are known for plot), it would be nice to up the ladies' side of the equation.

For what it's worth, Katie is pulling for Tom Nook. I think that'd be hillarious.

In response to DnD, I think Namco has said that they won't try to stuff a bunch of their characters in. They respect Nintendo/Sakurai/Smash a lot and didn't want to look like they were pushing their own stuff over it. That said, I think we can expect at least one Namco guy (probably Pac-Man, ala Game and Watch).

Fine, if it's females you want then Aika, R.ita (from Vesperia, blocking off the word filter here), several other Golden Sun party members, etc.

Those guys were kind of cool. Bad voice acting aside, I really liked Llyud and Savyna.
