Boone is only good for certain playstyles. He's a sniper, you don't bring him into melee.

Personally for my Melee Weapons build I ran with Veronica and ED-E for long-range. Not that this stopped either of them from tripping grenade bouquets.

yes clearly this makes sense

the moral of this story is get boone or there will be consequences
actually even if you get boone there will be consequences but they will be significantly sexier
