If you played Roller Coaster Tycoon with the forum you would go down in history Like George Washington
Let's get ready to go down in history
Like GODDAMN George Washington!!!!!
DAH GAME (a.k.a. fricking opening sequence)Okay, first things first. Roller Coaster Tycoon is a major kickass simulation game, where you take control of (the world) an amusement park, and manage it. Either planning your steps or just building shit everywhere.
The game was developed by Chris Sawyer, and released in 1999. From all Three games, this one is the most remarkable ones in terms of scenarios and simplicity. The game is notable for its system of custom construction of Roller Coasters, with impressive physics. That's right, that's why they should teach us physics. To make awesome theme parks and incredible coasters.
You can also adjust the landscape to your taste, add scenery, and do other stuff, to make your park look more than just some attractions on the side of a long metal path. This will be further used in some specific scenarios the game provides (there's a huge variety, specially if you have the expansion packs.) In these certain parks, you need to construct and manage rides under certain conditions and constraitns.
The game, even if it was made 13 years ago, is still freaking awesome, works nearly flawlessy on any computer, and the graphics, even with its retro feel, still look awesome, and they hold up to today.
I will be first playing the original scenarios, and after all are done, I'll play the expansion pack parks.
PUTTING THE daisies "LET'S" IN "LET'S PLAY" (a.k.a. random gimmicks)Okay, so here's where the interactivity rolls in. There will be various ways you guys will affect the playthrough. They are the following:
->1. After Forest Frontiers, you'll be picking the next park of the next five availables.
(The game begins with five parks unlocked. Forest Frontiers is the easiest and a Tutorial One. After beating one park, the next on the list becomes unlocked an so on. This basically means we can ignore a stupid park called Emerald Gardens (or Evergreen) up to the very end of the game if we want.)
->2. Naming Rides. Suggesting Rides. Suggesting Buttloads of Stuff.
(that simple. I have some funny ride names in my mind, but I'll leave most to you guys.)
->3. Additional Challenges.
(you can ask me to do extra challenges for certain levels, both to keep my interest in the game and to make the LP more interesting. If you have a funny/interesting Idea, I might try it. I might also do more than one challenge for each park.
->4. Other stuff.
(just say it and I'll do it. ANYTHING. I MEAN ANYTHING GODDAMN IT. okay not anything... there are some exceptions)
->5. Naming Guests
(don't you love doing that and then drowning them just for the sake of feeling evil?)
"Fish has just drowned!"
(okay that's odd.)
->6. There might be some other stuff but I don't remember it right now.
Want to buy the game? (a.k.a. why haven't you done so already)gog.com is selling the game for $5.99. BUY IT.
"Uploading System" (a.k.a. how I'll godamit do this)There won't be a schedule per se. I'll begin the first map after someone suggests a Challenge for it. You can suggest rides or other stuff before that, too. The first park will be
Forest Frontiers for tutorial purposes. After that you'll be able to pick it from the other FIVE available.
Each video will probably have two months. I don't have a time limit for parts anymore, so I might do three once in a while, but I rather do only two so they don't get really long.
Basically, for each year:
March+April: Part 1
May+June: Part 2
July+August: Part 3
September+October: Part 4
(If the park doesn't end on year 1, continue the pattern until last october of park)
Conclusion (a.k.a. I can't wait anymore let's begin)yeah let's. with the power of magic building coasters with one click!
YOU FOUND A FLAG!
