Well it was in the glass case behind the counter at EB yesterday, pretty much filled the case. I imagine it's either really good, or it's just there because nobody wants to buy it.

Usually the things behind the counter imply recent arrival or popularity. OR PERHAPS BOTH?

It's easily the best multiplayer game of the year. But don't buy it for the soccer (football for you crazies) aspect, as it really should be called "Mario Team Deathmatches CHARGED."

1-Player mode is fun online, but going through the cups is kind of face-stabbingly difficult and boring.

you said 1 player mode is fun online, online does not equal 1 player

The game holds a lot of multiplayer potential, because you can have four human players be an entire team. Bad. booty.

It has its pet peeves, like any good game. Whenever a match starts, you get no warning. You go right into playing, no countdown. It can catch you off gaurd if you're not careful.

I haven't seen the online mode, but I bet it can be described akin to shark infested water.

This game is absolutely the best multiplayer title on the Wii right now, even with the likes of Mario Party and Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Four player multiplayer is a blast, but online play is even better. It's got a sort of co-op; you can get a friend over at your house, and the two of you can take on two other random people online.

This game has probably absorbed the most multiplayer play time of any Wii title so far.

I haven't even touched the single player, except with friends (you can play the entire single player game as co-op with up to four friends when you're trying to unlock stuff). When I'm alone I just play online.

I guarantee anyone who complains about the game hasn't played it with friends over. It's temporarily even replaced Smash Bros.

As a single player game, it's just decent.
