New Roguelike game out on steam. There are 10 different classes that you can play through levels, collecting items and experience. Lots of fun little descriptions of the items/monsters. It's very unforgiving, but it's the kind of game where that's kind of the reason you play. Think Rogue Legacy, but with guns and no persistent buffs between attempts.

The one negative thing I have about this game is that you only start with one class and it can take quite a bit of doing to get even a couple more to try.

Also to do the multiplayer (which is rad as hell by the way) the host needs to do a whole bunch of port-forwarding bullshit

Otherwise I think it's a really fun game. Anybody else try it?

If you wanna get more classes easily (items too), you can just play on easy. The only class you need to play normal or higher to unlock is the huntress because monster logs don't drop on easy.

But yeah. I've played this game. A lot. Too much at times.

Is anyone else having problems with their computer freezing while playing this game? It's been happening more frequently to me, but only when I'm playing this game.

A friend and I got to the final level before the boss and computer froze the fuck up. Lost the progress that would have unlocked the Engineer

Multiplayer is great and easily done with LogmeinHamachi. We should all play together and cry a lot.

The multiplayer tends to end up being the most fun clusterfuck I know of. Chinmaster for best monster destroying buddy.

They added artifacts at some point, which are items you can find hidden in most levels that let you activate different modes in subsequent playthroughs.

One lets you pick the items you receive from chests and that gets pretty silly pretty fast.

Most others however add new little challenges to the game. Like enemies exploding upon death, and everyone (Including you) speeding up significantly as you lose health.

Also HAND-E is the best character, hands down.

I bodaciously just unlocked the last Steam Achievement for this game a few days ago. Drown 20 Whorls, what an oddball thing to work towards. I still have a few in-game cheeves to unlock though, and I haven't managed to unlock the Miner class yet.

I also spent like two days only trying to get the Commando cheeve where you have to make it through the first 3 levels taking no damage. It was insanely hard.

Also I'm addicted to using the Command artifact. I end up trying to make weird themes for my characters, like only picking up healing items or something. The only downside to it is you can't really pick an item while enemies are attacking you.
