Not much else like it my friend, I don't know many games where you actually count on your team.

If it weren't for the fact that I have a horrible memory, then hell, I'd most certainly show you who is the fucking boss

Worms 1, Worms3D, Worms Forts, and Worms: A Space Oddity.

And... would Sonic1 count? I mean I know its a platformer, but it makes a large emphasis on using speed to the player's advantage, which very few games, even today, use!

Except for, y'know, just about every other team-based game. Except for ones where one guy can destroy entire armies because the system is too imbalanced towards more experienced (or in the case of nearly every FPSes, accurate) players.
TF2 is rather unique in its approach in that it had very varied classes, an emphasis on gimmick-guns, its style, its gameplay modes (and more specifically, not having the regular Deathmatch mode whereby any teammate with more kills than deaths is an instant liability), and that it actually encourages camping. But not because it relies on teammates specialising in different things.

I don't really know too many team-based games then I guess. Most shooters I play I'm often dealing with some douche who throws grenades at his own teammates and constantly screams over the mic, I have never once played a TF2 match where I'm dealing with idiots. I guess maybe what I was trying to say is that I find the community of TF2 to be unique.

You really haven't been playing Team Fortress 2 if you haven't been playing with idiots. Hell, the art style attracts so much children.
If you want an example of idiocy, take a demoman who decides the best course of action when being ubercharged is to try and capture a point instead of shooting the 7 or so sentries, a team of snipers, spies, scouts and engineers, none of which can take down a sentry without assistance, let alone be suitable for an ubercharge.
TF2 doesn't force teamwork, it merely requires it. So as long as someone shrugs their shoulders and says to themselves "Someone else can do it" nothing can really be done.

Also, TF2 is just as exploitable and subject to griefing as much as any other First Person Shooter.

Everything else I can think of was already mentioned.

I have yet to play Braid, I always get the points for it but usually end up getting something else. Looks wonderful though.

I went back and played Sonic recently, and I was heavily disappointed with it.

Definitely a game seen through rose colored classes.

The reality is, after the first world, they pretty much punished heavily any hedgehogs that would chose to move fast. Green Hills is what the game should have been. The rest of the levels are a bad memory.
