AWKWARD ZOMBIE

This game is still a ton of fun. I'm around level 17 now and shotgun outlander is pretty much the most thing ever. The other ranged weapons, especially the one-handed ones are a lot less fun. I got some gambler's pistol thing which got me pretty excited, except in function it behaved horribly and even with a DPS greater than my shotgun plus being able to hold another weapon, it still felt a lot less tactile and also seemed to do a ton less damage, but maybe I wasn't clicking enough? The two-handed weapons in this game feel way better in any respect, and even the crossbow I used for long-rage stuff seemed better.

The armor looks great though. All of it. Especially the stuff I just spent all my cheddar on from Boon.

Part of it might be that even though pistols have "very fast" attack speed, they feel slower than shotguns sometimes. Dual wielding in general just feels like that; less damage for mediocre speed that's sort of faster than two-handers. Except for Berserker dual wielding claws. Shit's a flurry of death.
