I wasn't disappointed by Nintendo's conference because I realized that they probably have so many things in the embryonic stages with the Wii U they couldn't show most of it. Nintendo has never lived up to the fan's expectations and for good reason: most gamers today are used to yearly installments of popular games, so much so that fans get quite annoying and stupid when a game they want gets delayed. Nintendo takes its time making things great, and I'd rather have them take their time than see them become the kind of company that pushes out yearly installments.

The only thing that disappointed me this year was no Bayonetta 2 announcement. However there was that Project P-100 project that Kamiya's working on so maybe next year.

Bayonetta 2 was permanently shelved last time I checked because one of the companies involved with the series folded up and died, and aren't passing their IP's on.

And I think Nintendo didn't announce as much as they could have because people have been on them to reveal only what's coming soon. When the 3DS was unveiled, there were shitloads of games announced, but few of them made it to the console within the launch window. Last year they highlighted 5 3DS games, with KI not coming out until recently and Luigi's Mansion still not being released until this fall. So Nintendo is focusing more on the short term, and since they're making regular press conferences with Nintendo Direct, they can afford to focus without announcing things that'll come too far into the future.

All i wanted this year was new animal crossing information and maybe some borderlands 2 stuff ;_;
that being said, borderlands is coming out in a few months but i don't think there's even a release date for animal crossing yet

Animal Crossing is coming out in Fall in Japan.

It'll be out in Spring in the US and Europe.
