But in all seriousness that sounds pretty cool, I'll give it a look when/if it comes out.

I think the game was announced for the 3DS.

Edited the title because it's more than just SF, TK and VF.

Very hype for the game. Can't wait to see more about it!

Here's the kind of battle gameplay we can probably expect from it:

That was a joke. :colbert:

But I guess it was a little misleading...

Correct me if I'm wrong - but has this been heavily influenced by MUGEN in its style?

I'm not saying that's a bad thing - it just feels like this game is intentionally leaning toward that.

I wouldn't say it was influenced by it, but it has similarities. However, it's also a T-RPG/ S-RPG. The moves you input are picked from a movelist on the bottom screen.

Oh I see, so it's not like MUGEN gameplay-wise.

Yeah, it's more like a 2D A-RPG when it comes to gameplay in fights. Something like Tales of, I suppose.

Frank West from Dead Rising, Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers, Alisa and Soma from Gods Eater Burst, and Zephyr and Leanne from Resonance of Fate have all been confirmed and added to the official site.

Is it weird that I only recognize the Capcom cast and not Namco or Sega's?

It's not. Capcom is more mainstream in the Western world than Namco and Sega when it comes to series that aren't their main onces.
