Funny considering Grayson has more character development than all of Gordon

I never liked the SILENT, MYSTERIOUS PROTAGONIST thing outside of RPG's, and even then some backstory is nice. Just because a character has a personality and background doesn't mean you can't immerself as them. I found playing as Gordon kind of boring character wise because when I play a game I don't want to be me. I want to be someone else, and if that person is a loud, vulgar alcoholic space pirate then fuck yeah I'm pop flyin'. I think if you get the character right, its more fun to be that character rather than having to make up one.

Plus he visibly changes in attitude multiple times, he's not always a chauvinistic pirate.

its in some of the later levels when Ishi and Grayson start getting some bromance/character development, its not bad, although its also later in the game when he says my favourite line
"my booty is puckered with joy"
