AWKWARD ZOMBIE

It is my goal to fill my shack full of random creepy things I find while playing oblivion. Although I should take all the random shit off the floor so I can walk on it without lagging.

So many times, I have murdered someone in their sleep, and an NPC goes "OH MY GOD, MURDER", and then goes to sleep right next to/ON TOP OF the corpse. It is my favourite bit of dumb AI.

Probably my best stories of this happening are: when you steal the ring from the countess, you do it when she's asleep. After stealing the ring I got bored, so I saved and tried to kill her and the count in their sleep. She died but the count survived the sneak attack and went running. I went and hid, and when I came back to try killing him again, he had gone back to sleep on top of his wife's corpse.

In his defense, she went flying a little bit when I hit her and landed on his side of the bed, but really. He was just like "DAMMIT HONEY THIS IS MY SIDE oh well i guess i'll just sleep right on top of your bloody, mangled head."

And then for the dark brotherhood quest when you have to kill all the guests at the party, it happened three times.

After making everyone my friend, I came across Neville sleeping alone in a room. So I killed him.

Then I came across the old lady sleeping, but the bosmer girl was right there so I woke up the old woman. She got up, left the room, went down to the room I killed Neville in, and went to sleep right on top of his corpse.

So I killed her too.

Then the nord comes upstairs and ALSO GOES TO SLEEP. So now he's asleep on Neville and the old woman's corpses. I kill him too. There is now a pile of three corpses on the exact same bed.

Unfortunately, with only two guests remaining, I went and talked to the spoiled rich guy and he was like "I NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAD FEELINGS FOR THAT HARLOT BAW", got an axe, and then started fighting with the bosmer girl.

She summoned a zombie and they duked it out for awhile before he killed her and her corpse landed like she was asleep at the nearby lectern.

Then he just went "Oh man SHE'S DEAD I GUESS SHE WASN'T THE MURDERER they must be in here with you and me" even though he just killed her and he knows he didn't kill anyone else.

I guess I could've waited and saw if he went and fell asleep on top of the other three corpses, but right after I talked to him I just whacked him in the back of the head and he fell down the stairs dead.

It was a really fun quest, that one.

the nord servant you get with rosethorn manor is surprisingly useful for vampire harvests, if anything

I like how I kill a guard, a citizen comes out, goes and looks at the guard, then starts attacking the other guards. BRILLIANT.

I realized that my dad has Oblivion already downloaded and installed. I started my own game and it is more fun then I thought it would be.

I really like sneaking around and just killing everyone with a hammer to the skull.

Be careful - you might need them for a quest later but they aren't considered essential.

For the most part I only kill the enemies unless I'm willing to waste my once-a-day invisibility spell because I don't want to get caught.

My character's name is Bloodwrath Skullcrusher.

THE THREAD RETURNS

So recently, I've been playing Oblivion on the PS3 because it has shivering isles, and I took up the quest to become duchess of mania after killing off the duke, but for some reason it won't let me progress any farther even though I poisoned his meal with greenmote at the right time. I also made sure to go to his throne room when he ate dinner, and he didn't die.

I went back the next day to the place i was before to see what went wrong with poisoning his meal, and it said it was already poisoned, and apparently the quest log says I need to poison his wine too. I stood facing the exact place where the wine should be, but i can't activate the glass or anything.

Did anyone else have problems with this quest? I need halp

Edit: Whoops, nevermind. I read Zink's LP and it shows what I have to do now.

I'm guessing most people have found out about this, but if you're a member of the Fighter's/Mage's guild, you can run inside said guild while being attacked and they will kill the attacker for you, no matter who it is. I've had the Fighter's Guild take down every single guard in the city from me just attacking one guard and running inside.
