I hope I don't come off as pretentious posting like this at such a low dick size.

Nintendo has a few games a commin' that have sparked my fancy.
Let's share our opinions, cuz sharing is caring. lalala~

Warioland Shake it:
Looks absolutely beautiful, I'm glad to see a side scroller on the wii of that quality. Good to see Captain Syrup again, and the Wariomobile, but most of all, the old Wario. No more wierd-booty biker fart guy, he's back to his old munny-grubbin' treasure hunting ways, I just hope he has some of his crazy wrastlin' moves from warioworld. Did any of you play the old Mario land and Wario land games for the Gameboy? They we're good, huh?

Kirby Super Star Ultra:
The screenshots didn't do justice, I only just watched the trailer and realized the cutscenes were full animated 3D. I haven't read up much about it, but if there's co-op I'm sold. Graphics look as cutesy and sugar coated as you'd expect, but I could always use some more sugar in my gaming diet. Oh yes, this game's realease date got bumped up a week, so we're expecting it on the 22nd.

Kirby's really moved away from the Dreamland games. No more basic copy powers, no more Dark Matter. Oh I guess in the original he didn't even have copy powers. How many of you here have actually played Kirby's dream land 3?

Pokemon Platinum:
The Pokemon Emerald for diamond and pearl. I dunno, seems like too much work starting all over. They'd have too do alot more than a simple plot change to hook me in. But truth be told, I'll probably play it anyways. Those freakin' pokemans are so cute.

I'm interested in what you folk have to say, so feel free to discuss.

Unfortunately, I'm going to force myself to get platinum because I want to play through the torn world... daisies you new pokemon places...

Edit: For those who don't what it is yet.

I'll pass on Platinum, and I've never owned any Wario games except Warioware. But I never played the original Kirby Super Star, so this little remake thingy might be worth my while.

I remember seeing some concept art for a Kirby game way back when the Wii was coming out. It was sort of in the vein of Kirby Air Ride, except Kirby was riding on a totem pole of other Kirby characters. Has anyone heard anything about that? If it was a Kirby Air Ride type game, then it might have been Sakurai's project, until he left Hal for Brawl. No one ever tells me when a game gets canned. Either way, I'd still greet a Wii Kirby game with open arms. Maybe someday.

I think it was canned for a while, then they brought it back. Checked a few sites, it seems to be pending.

It looks awesome, 4 player co-op looks kickass.

EDIT: oh, it's not like air ride, It's a 3D side scroller akin to Crystal shards, but closer to superstar in gameplay I believe.

It has some air ride enemies that you can use though, like the fire phanphan and flappy.

That looks completely and totally awesome dear lord.

You know, the thing I don't like about the new Animal Crossing game is, I heard once that the reason ACWW was so similar to the original was because they were saving all the big changes for the Wii game. I was expecting like, a new art style or something. It looks the same, but I'm sure it has its differences. Maybe they were going to change the art style, but MySims stole their thunder.

All look delightful and I'm thinking of getting them. I won't be waiting outside for them the first day they're released, but more like casually stroll in to get them after the mad rush dies down.

Not considering getting the next Pokemon game. The formula's gotten pretty daisies old and because of the monotony, I can't drive myself to complete a game in the series past Silver/Gold.

Okay, so I saw a video of the new Animal Crossing game, and it looks good. It flows well, and looks easy to control on the Wii. If they can just throw in a ton of content, I'll be satisfied.

What I'm concerned with is, what if "City Folk" is just a spin off? I mean, the thing about Animal Crossing sequels is that it's necessary for them to still offer the essential Animal Crossing experience. If not, then City Folk will be to Animal Crossing what Urbz is to Sims. Bad idea.

Come to think of it, the Wii attachment is actually an exciting prospect. Now those 1:1 lightsaber duels are feasible. Can't blame Nintendo for not releasing this tech at launch; they probably wanted to lower launch costs.

All I want is free NES games. And a basement to put them in. Oh, and I want to have a life-sized game of chess. Still never quite accomplished that one.

Life-size as in waist-high pieces or life-size as in people dressed as pieces?

Come on. Anyone who's seen History of the World Part 1 would immediately get what I mean.
