AWKWARD ZOMBIE

So I went out to get the second No More Heroes today. I must say, this game kicks so much booty that I have now decided to go gay for Suda 51. Everything has been improved upon, the game manages to be even more outlandish and funny than the first, and no more time-consuming over world. I haven't finished it yet, but my god this game.

This is a great week for games.

I'll bring the pity-chips! I'm being stingy 'cause I can't afford a pity-cake at the moment.

I gots to rank 25 last night. I loved the first game but I can understand the gripes about it. This one seems is pretty much a step up in every way. I for one didn't mind the overworld and I liked just driving around santa destroy looking for lovikov or whatever balls, so the new system is kinda meh. I will say it saves time though, so that's a plus.

The combat may not feel all that different to some people but it feels like a world of difference to me. For one, I never used wrestling moves in the first game. Ever. They felt useless to me. Maybe I was just playing the game wrong, but the beam katana seemed to take care of everything and alot better at that. This time around wrestling moves feel integral to the overall combat. The beam katana is more or less the same. I'm looking forward to collecting the other beam katanas and see which is my favorite.

About the combat, one thing I have to say they excelled admirably at is the AI. The first game felt like it was just a tedious time waster fighting the enemies until you got to the boss. This time, the regular enemies actually put up a fight. They don't feel like giant logs of meat that need slicing, but like actual enemies. Giant plus.

Overall I'm loving the game so far and I'm sure it's only going to get better.

My god this game is awesome! I've gotten up to rank 2 and the bosses just keep getting better. I also love the diversity in the weapons this time around. All-around perfect sequel so far.

I loved the first game, so I'll definitely pick up Desperate Struggle.

My Wii will be useful again!

Oh, and No More Heroes theme tune is awesome...

Hmm. The ending to this game just kinda...happened. It wasn't really "bad", but it wasn't nearly as epic as the ending of the first one. The last boss was hard as fuck too.

OH...UM shameless thread revival BUT, the Sound track for this game is absolutely fucking amazing. I almost like it better than the first one. Almost.

I haven't found time to pick it up yet. I raelly should.
