AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Okay, hardcore MGS fan here, so here are my thoughts

MGS: Great game, even though many of the situations are reused from metal gear 2. In the original game, not being able to take aim first person wise made the players rely more on stealth then weapons...and i'm not the best at stealth games...When twin snakes came out, I was so pop flyin' with the ability to take aim with guns...I gotta admit, some of foxhound members were stupid...really stupid...*cough*decoy octopus*cough*...

MGS2: Not a bad game. Certainly is a much better sequel then Devil may cry 2 ever was. There are some bad parts to it, yes, and some bad writing points, and some reused situations from Metal Gear...but all in all, i didn't hate the game.

MGS3: My favorite game of the series. My only complaints are some stupid bosses...oh, look at me! I'm covered in bees! oooo, i've got stings all over my face...so freakin dumb...The only good bosses in that game are the end, the sorrow, and the boss.

I have yet to play MGS4 or portable ops, and i refuse to play acid...

I honestly didn't enjoy the remake as much. I mean, it ruined the essence of the original, and it seemed like the voice-acting got worse because of the need for accurate dub.

The original will forever be my favorite. The great voice-acting, the overall storyline and the gameplay all come together and make it a masterpiece. :'D


You read my mind partially there. But I will NEVER accept those terrible Raiden and Rose scenes. UGH. My brain almost stopped.


It was epic. And it certainly pleased the MGS2 LOATHER side of the fanbase. Not to mention the fact that it was very informative. But yes, some of the bosses weren't that great.


BUY PORTABLE OPS NOW. :'D
And MGS4 is definatly a keeper. You won't regret it.

I wonder if there's a torrent of Portable Ops. I don't have a PsP and don't plan on getting one any time soon, but I still wanna play that game. ):

But I don't have cheddar to spend on a PsP. I'm saving up for a PS3 as it is. ):

you're buying a ps3? don't waste the cheddar. just buy a psp and portable ops.

Quick question: what games do you want to get on it?

Not that I'm biased against the PS3, just that too many people buy consoles, especially PS3s, to use them as status symbols or because of blind brand loyalty. Hence why I ask that question: if people can't actually name a couple of games they want, then it means they shouldn't be getting the console in the first place.
