Actually, their pre-order comes with an exclusive Tier-I Constitution-class from the original Star Trek series. I got mine through Steam because I just like having it there. Here is a list of who gets what.

Okay, so, the headstart access starts tomorrow. Depending on how far I get, I may or may not write a review. On the last day of open beta, I saw some pretty awesome character/ship name combos. I'll post a few:

Federation

Ship: U.S.S. Spaceship
Commanding Officer: Captain Obvious

Ship: U.S.S. Nimbus
Commanding Officer: Captain Zapp Brannigan

Ship: U.S.S. Cleveland Steamer
Commanding Officer: Didn't bother to check. I was laughing too hard.

Ship: U.S.S. Pallet Town
Commanding Officer: Lieutenant Commander Ash

Klingon

Ship: I.K.S. Spoot Cruiser
Commanding Officer: Admiral Invader Zim.
