I finished Portal earlier...and now time for a story...

I'd heard the line "The cake is a lie" a LOT. I also used it frequently enough. That was before I played Portal. [spoiler]But when I finished the last puzzle, I noticed the "cake" sign on the wall. I was not prepared for what a lie the cake really was. I should have been prepared considering GLaDOS says "You will be baked, and then there will be cake." But I just thought that was one of her usual malfunctions. So I was not prepared. Died 3 times in the furnace...on one death I noted another Portal gun in the fire...[/spoiler]

One typo and I lose? Well, thanks. I guess next time I'll check for absolute perfection before I hit "submit." How silly of me.

And I beat Portal last night. Definitely one of the most innovative games I've ever played. And I'm all sorts of proud of myself. I think this is the first time I've ever beaten a game where I didn't need any sort of help. Doesn't really say much about my gaming ability, now does it?

I played it this morning (I'm late, I couldn't affort OB and the single Portal game came out here only like a month ago) and I am a pussy.

[spoiler]I cried when I incinerated the companion cube. I'm fucking serious.
