I'd buy it. And I'm not a tool.

Thanks?

I guess I probably have a lot of time on my hands, or I just like thinking about these sorts of things.

Paper Link would have two different commands: Sword and Missile (can't think of a better word!). So like in Paper Mario, sword hits ground-based enemies and Missile hits things in the air! Of course, there are upgrades Instead of Hammers and Shoes, Link gets stronger swords and different projectiles. Boomerang > Bow and Arrow > Hookshot.

His first partner is an Octorok named Octink.

I was debating as to whether or not the first partner should be a fairy, in order to make more sense utilizing the "Tattle" ability, but....How can a fairy actually attack?!

Fairy could be a healing character, and I guess it could just like..bump people.

Fairies can fly, and are magical creatures, so I'd go with air-based atttacks.

Some moves a fairy could have (based on what I remember of playing PM2:TTYD):

*Tattle (reveals info about an enemy)
*Gust (summons a gust of wind to damage the enemy)
*Distract/Annoy (makes it impossible for an enemy to attack for a turn)
*Restore (uses MP to heal a character)

Possible power-up of moves.

Gust > Tornado > Maelstrom

A certain fairy could have an 'auto-lock' feature, for the 'missile' weapons.

Call her Z. For Z-targeting.

EDIT- oh wait. It's the old Paper Mario.

Yeah, that's what I was going for.

Lol. The fairy could yell 'HEY LISTEN' at the enemy and make them pass out for like two/three whole turns or something.

Electricity, maybe? I heard fairies have different elements to them.

This is a spherical gnat Zelda fairy, you fools!

Obviously I'll give it a cannon.
