This series is one of the best video games. I say one because they're all the same
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA though recently they implemented a rock-paper-scissors mechanic with the weapons, and also characters can switch weapons to take advantage of the mechanic. It's pretty cool.
So I've been playing the "Xtreme Legends: Dynasty Warriors 8 - Complete Edition" on the PS4, and it's been fun, albeit a little repetitive. There's this weird part at the end of the Lu Bu campaign where
Lu Bu is defending Xiapi Castle from Cao Cao and Liu Bei, and since in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms book it was said that Lu Bu lost to them there, no matter what Lu Bu does in this battle, he's going to lose. So, after I defeated every single officer of Cao Cao's and Liu Bei's single-handedly, Lu Bu was about to deal out the finishing blow to Cao Cao, but then Cao Cao' cousin Xiahou Yuan swoops in and shoots arrows at Lu Bu's arms and hands to make him drop his Trident-Halberd, and then two no-name footsoldiers force him onto the ground by pressing into his neck with two sticks. Earlier in the level, Lu Bu was punching out castle walls to keep his castle from flooding.
