To clear things up, I don't normally play console games. Let alone FPS. I play TF2 when my internet allows me to, and I usually pull around 50 points in an half an hour. Not too amazing, but far more then the people who don't understand how to use mouse and keyboard.
However, I get a lot more kills when I'm playing the same game at my friends house, on his XBox 360. I will usually score around 60 points in half an hour. I'm not going to argue that the mouse has better precision. I guess all I'm trying to say is, even if you claim its fact, some people are just better with the console controllers, and not the mouse. Personally, I don't think either are superior. I think its more on who's using it.
What would you do if someone hooked a controller into their computer, and played TF2.. actually, I think you'd probably be more of a TFC kind of guy, since you apparently hate all new games. Anyway, would you still say the mouse and keyboard are superior even if the mouse users got their asses handed to them by a controller user?
Oh wait, I all ready know what you're going to say.
"Well it's obvious that the mouse users were too brain dead to know how to properly play the game, and the controller user easily beat them"
Again, I'm not going to argue that the mouse has more precision. However, I will argue that a controller can be better then the mouse if used by the right player.
You get more kills on 360 TF2, because the players there are less skilled because of the reasons I explained before. They suck with M&K and have to go and play with shitty console controls that even the playing field.
It would be bodaciously impossible to kill anyone in TFC with a console controller. The game is incredibly fast paced, your analog stick aiming will NOT be able to point to the enemies in a fraction of a second when you're bunny hopping through the map, you will never land a shot unless you stand perfectly still and shoot at someone else who is standing perfectly still. The M&K players will utterly rape the console controller player.
Again, my challenge. Go play an FPS game on a console and spin 124 degrees to the left in a fraction of a second. Upload a video of yourself doing it. If you can do that, I will concede that console controllers are on par with M&K.
