Question: can the DS not handle anything bigger than 256 MB or is it that the cards don't have enough space for that?
Because with those various cards where you can put your roms on, the space doesn't seem to be an issue since it can easily go to many GB thanks to a micro SD card inside the game card.

Oh man guys.this just made me jizz in my pants I may have to invest in a 3DS just for This Effing game. Srsly. Miles edgeworth: ace attornet Investigations was actually kind of a let down. I beat it in three days. BUT THIS.

I think it should be possible to create new cartridges with more storage space, but perhaps the production costs would be too high. 2GBit seems enough for most DS games in any case, the only dual-cartridge DS game I can think of is Dragon Quest IX. The 3DS will definitely require higher amounts of storage space.

Also I'm pretty sure MicroSD cards are completely different.

Aaand they kind of have to support the 3DS since most people will likely switch to it anyway.
