So this is more of a question than anything, really, and I figure there are a lot of people on this forum who are better than me at computers and games in general. I don't have issues using emulators; that's fairly easy. No, my question is, has anyone used the online multiplayer of some of the emulators? Do they lag a lot, or are they fine? Which emulator do you use and how buggy is it? Looking at youtube tutorials doesn't really answer those questions. I'm trying to get both Project64k and Dolphin to work online, since they were the first ones I found out about, but I don't know if they're any good.

I just really want to play my old N64 and GCN games with my friends, and if it's going to happen it'll need to be over the internet.

Due to the very touchy nature of the legality of emulation, it is forbidden to discuss it in much details on this forum. We have a thread about ROMhacks, but that's as far as we will allow.
Thank you.
