Come here, fellow wizards. No, your name is NOT Harry.

What is this game?

Soul Sacrifice is a game where you're a wizard enslaved by a most powerful one who happened to make mankind his cattle, sacrificing them to maintain his life. You just happen to fell into a living book who can make you relieve his owner's life, thus making you gain power, spells, sigils and the like.

What should keep in mind about this game?

The core mechanic is simple: you decide if you want to spare your enemy or sacrifice him.

If you save him, your defense, life and recovery goes up. If you sacrifice your enemy, however, your spells become more powerful and their power have been renewed.

Although the catch is you can't save everyone.

What about the bosses?

Some of them have a elemental weakness. But they all have those weak points called ''Cursed Parts''. You destroy one, you stun the Archfiend for a while?

What kind of spells are there?

Weapon spells, projectile ones, shields... Basically what you can expect from a wizard.

Of course, if you don't mind losing a bit of health and getting a debuff for some time, there's the Black Rites. Those kind of spells are extremely powerful, but they come at a price. Nuking a area with fire? Your skin's burns will halve your defense. Made a bone whip by ripping your own arm off? Your sigils won't work. Crafted a sword with your spine? You'll keep bleeding until you're out of health.

There's more, but it's best left at your own discovery.

Let's make this a thread about keeping up with one's wizarddom.
