Because she chose a rock-type to fight a water-type. Seriously, what is that?

It's called reverse-psychology!

Don't try to comprehend my advanced battle strategy.

Anemic swimmers are weak to psychological attacks.

... how much of a loser am I to know this? *sigh*

Although Gyarados is technically part water type, most of them don't have any water moves... not for a while, anyways... and he is part flying type, too, so... well, Graveler would still probably lose, but not necesarily because of the water thing. I don't memorize this stuff. I just have like... semi-photographic memory. Or something.

Meh.

The battle plan is PERFECT. If I threw a rock at something it would break or be somewhat damaged... so instead of a rock, throw a boulder!

It's the PERFECT plan!

Since when does getting a boulder wet make it any less powerful?

Except rocks don't breathe.

I distinctly remember either a Graveler or a Golem fighting underwater once in the show, but I don't remember what episode it was.
