First off...

Connedromat?

Shouldn't it be CONUNDROMAT? Like a merging of CONUNDRum and laundDROMAT?

I mean, it's laundry, but it's a blacksmith, and that's like a conun...nevermind...

Anyway, I like the first panel, a good amount of damage details, especially on the Tauren, and Ye Olde Balcksmith! YAY CLICHE's!

Though in fact, in the timeline of Warcraft , blacksmith are a current and prominent profession, so "Ye Olde Blacksmith" makes no sense...

Again, nevermind....

The blacksmith himself is very "simply" drawn, to say, I mean, I don't know how you make those simple aprons complex, but a little texture never hurt, and you almost never see an ork without scars or marks, or paint or bones sticking out of strange places.

But, art critiscism and universe contradictions aside,
I liked the joke, worthy of LOL from me!

Also, I thought you were a tauren, but is that undead supposed to be you? I assume so.

And, do people ever bug you on your server? Like say "LOL I <3 UR COMIX, WANNA JOIN MAH GUILD!?"

I don't think your popular enogh to warrant SWARMS of people like that, but surely you get people like that once or twice...

I'm sorry dude...but you sound rather full of yourself. It's a comic, meant to be silly.
And as to the CONNEdromat, perhaps she meant con as in Con-artist?
Conned? Not working for you?

I might be opening myself to flames from you, but who cares if you lol'd?

Sorry if I sound full of myself, I just was pointing out a few of my critiscisms. Some of them were sarcastic remarks, but I always forget that sarcasm does not translate well into text.

Also, I seemed to have read the title funny, my bad!

I thought the title had a typo, as I read it as "con-ned-dro-mat." With that many syllables, I thought that "con-nun-dro-mat" was what she ment!

Silly me!

"Conned-dro-mat" is a great title, a groan-worthy pun that I can't believe I misread!

However, I stand by my critique, and while I laughed at the joke, I found the art could use some improvement in this one. The subtitle of the board itself encourages criticism. So even if I find the comic funny, I'm not going to give blind praise.

Besides, blind praise is no fun to type :P

Also, Fredsama, Welcome to the forums! :D

I didn't find anything particularly wrong with the simplicity in this comic. I even thought the background in the first frame was unusually excessive for Katie.

Having said that, one thing that caught my eye about this comic was that she did a very good job on the blacksmith's musculature given the cartoony style. It's quite well done and anatomically correct compared to a lot of her previous depictions of bulky characters. With this kind of style it's so much easier to draw everything as flat.

Getting better! I think the undead's arm bones are a little thick/wide no?

I noticed that in the first panel too. The bloom lighting in particular, it felt so...different, not in a bad way though. Something to experiment with more often.

Nice comic, however, I must complain about something.

Quote:
Nobody seems to like them except some people who actually play WoW, and nobody cares about their opinions. Oh well!

I take massive personal offense to this comment, why? Because I like convincing myself where I live in a pop flyin' little world where people do care about my opinion.

*sob*

That, and the joke makes some sense without it. Most RPGs have Blacksmiths that can fix all equpment...including robes and WOODEN STAVES! How do you fix a wood staff? I hope nobody says wood glue...

Well I was going to say super glue, but fuck you.

Also, don't question it, I don't, I just cry when I get like, oh say 40 daisies GOLD REPAIR BILLS.

Seriously, enjoy it. I carry around at least two sets with me at all times, on average after a raid or something I pay anywere between 25-40 gold for a repair bill.

I found the comic funny....I don't think it matters if you play WoW or Runescape (which I haven't bothered with in over 7 months) You can still enjoy WoW comics XP

Actually I did mispell it, didn't realize it though as I looked over the post, as, technically it's phoneticly correct...

But Orc>Ork any day! And now I should leave before I got lost in a rant about how every other fantasy steal from Tolkien .
