That's what I don't get. Maybe they were trying but then started to get rustled off the other isn't going through and are both getting mad because they have places to go and would wish the other person would just get going instead of sitting there wasting your time?

That could be, but forgive me for being nit picky however I don't see any indication its cold except for the hat and hoodie. The lines could be shivering or tension and I took them to mean tension especially with the courtesy line.

I believe the competition is the correct answer.

Oh my, me and my roommates do this all the time.

Now to make it more interesting, add doors with locks and a couple instances where two doors lead to the same destination.
"Go through MY door." "NO U."
