You can totally go to the Lich guy in Sholazar Basin who becomes immune, he usually bugs out and doesn't attack but you can still attack him for skill ups!

edit-I can be mean and point out more inconsistencies like how mammoths are in borean tundra and generally not near snow

It was funny though, I frequently try to do this with my staff and newly earned polearm skill (I am using the shardstrike from molten core).

Don't mean to be mean, it was good and I look forward to more.

Emaciated Mammoth Calves are in the Dragonblight, which is covered in ice and snow.

Coincidentally, my first thought was of Gunnerkrigg Court as well.

Incidentally, I currently have 8 weapon skills at max level.

Finally, I promise to stop starting sentences and paragraphs with words that end in "lly". Yes I know this paragraph only made it worse.

It makes me sad when enemies have names like Emaciated and Starved... sometimes I want to let them kill me just so they have something to eat. :cry:

Tip for your friend if he wants to level any other weapons. Go to shadow labs and just attack http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=18731 he is immune to the damage unless u kill the warlocks which you can easily bypass at 80.
