I have a vendetta against the rabbids after what they did to Rayman so I was prepared to never even give this game a chance. But then I played a tiny bit of it around my sister's house, and actually, they almost sold me. Because I could phrase the narrative of me playing it as "helping mario + friends stop the rabbids from ruining another franchise".

Until, of course, I reached the castle and realized that they were going with the narrative of the NORMAL rabbids being perfectly good and fine and harmless and the EVIL rabbids are the ABNORMAL ones, instead of the real way rabbids work, where evil is their natural state and only possible action, corrupting everything they touch.

I was kind of surprised to see a comic about this game. I feel like it came out, was praised as WAY better than expected, and then just sort of sidelined and largely forgotten because of everything else that was happening with the Switch.
I like the comic though, Katie's facial expressions are pure gold as usual.
