I felt the need to join due to this comic, not sure why xD

But yes, honestly, I would see the movement and shoot to a point, but I felt bad, and TRIED not to, but that would be a LOT easier if you could do anything else with these creatures, feed them, tame them, anything simple. If you gave them meat, and they just followed you, NOTHING else, I'm sure I would have frolicked and protected the little Foxie baboo's

Honestly, it was the same with the Fennec Fox's in Dragon Age Inquisition xD.

So yeah, definitely "Me too" but I feel bad about it....

So, you're basically asking an "AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO X" question out of an audience of regular readers who already say "wow, yes, me too" on a regular basis.

Katie, there are seven billion people on this earth, and out of them are at least millions of gamers, with at least one portion of those millions guaranteed to agree on even the strangest question you ask, even if they weren't already inclined to by being fans of yours. On top of which, what you are asking them to agree with is a very, very simple question that you're not supposed to ask in games - "Isn't it weird how anything you can't befriend or use is a monster you need to fight?"/"Isn't it weird how most of the things you interact with in video games are enemies that you can only fight?"

I don't like having to say this surrounded by people who will no doubt make me regret saying it, but seeing you asking your readers to agree with you so directly comes off as incredibly sad and ridiculous for you to ask for absolvement and sympathy for these kinds of thoughts so directly. If someone had posted a comment like that on Reddit, then I would've called it "karma baiting".

I mean.... I kinda got the impression she just realized something funny after drawing the comic and made an off hand comment on the matter, not that she was seriously digging for confirmation....

Why not both? Also, I tend not to notice the small critters unil I get too close and the run away and despawn from the world. Really hard to line up a shot in those conditions.

But it's not the only option, there is at the absolute least the option of leaving them alone as well.

It's probably because there are people on various sites that Katie's on who try to tell her their opinions or who seek out her email in order to inform her about what they like (or more likely don't like) about her comic and, like most people, she's hoping not to be called a psychopath just because she kills harmless foxes in a video game.

Also it was probably a joke.

wow, yes, me too. I think the reason I joined is because this is the first comic that has prompted me to feel interested in responding since I deleted my Facebook account back in October. Before then, I was content enough to comment on the comic on the awkwardzombie fb page, when I felt like it.

I certainly never shot a fox in Breath of the Wild... I might have accidentally run over one or two on my horse, and felt kind of bad about it. I tried to avoid killing the other animals too; maybe I shot some (like in that sidequest where he asks you to shoot all the deer you can in a set time) but other than that I didn't if I could help it.
