Location: That.. is actually a VERY good question.. Help?
Okay, time to buzzkill and deconstruct..

Ultimate creation; that thing basically just looks like a normal quadruped, only massive. If that thing is ultimate, then robotics hasn't gone very far.
Bipedal; Discussed in comic.. No reason to explain that..
'Peace walker'; attack bot armed with nuclear weaponry. I don't think I need to explain it, but if I do? There is nothing peaceful about this.
Fail Deadly; So... If it fails something, it dies.

I assume it triggers its nuclear weapons if its destroyed.

I really need to stop using MS Paint. It really is quite terrible.
But then so are my edits.

Well I mean, the first time you fight it it is bipedal. Afterwards it drops to all fours. Kinda interesting that they didn't try doing the reverse, having you fight it on four and then switch to two to make it more "Metal Gear" like.

Though the game ends with you fighting a true Metal Gear so it's all good.

I don't remember the plot of Peace Walker super well, but I'm pretty sure it was a nuclear deterrence thing. Peace by mutually assured destruction

It's Peace in the sense that the weapon cannot be used pro-actively.

It's fail-Deadly in the sense that if AMERICA is destroyed in a Nuclear Attack it will always retaliate. The thought was that mankind was too weak to knowingly destroy itself. So once one side of the Cold War initiated an attack the other could not bring themselves to retaliate because it would cause the apocalypse. The AI-Powered Peace Walker could and WOULD always retaliate to a nuclear strike against the most efficient targets. It being an AI is a further proof of it as a deterrent as it takes the human element out of it.

The weapon bodaciously cannot fire unless it thinks someone else has fired first and it's originally bipedal hence Peace Walker!

Ok, so I kinda got lazy on the last one and didn't remove the rest of the robot. Sue me.

You're not being very fair. To say something can't be "ultimate" because of things we only know in hindsight is arguing that nothing can be ultimate at the time of creation because humanity will keep on trucking and produce bigger and better things. Also what he's saying is the equivalence of "this is my baby." He's made it and he is very proud of it.

"Fail-deadly" is the exact opposite of a "failsafe", and is an actual term. Usually it's used in terms of nuclear weaponry; it's less that it dies if it fails to complete its mission, and more that everything else dies.

It looks more like Nowi ate her way out of the robot, which almost makes it better.

Wait, why does it have two nuclear pods instead of a normal missile pod?

Unless........

The comic itself earned a chuckle from me but I'm staying for the riveting nuclear warfare terminology dissection. Keep it up, guys.

So its Mecha Giant Nowi, which is arguably even more impressive than Giant Nowi.

In the history of MAD, or just human history in general, "Fail Deadly' is one of the most terrifying things we've come up with.
