These Fallout readings are all over the place. The levels are unstable. Next week's comic might be about Fallout 3, Fallout 4, or maybe even Fallout -1 if the instability continues.

The merchant looks like he has accepted his fate.

as much as i love FO and Skyrim, i HATE the weight system. probably because i hoarde almost as bad as katie.

Also, katie really looks like a guy in this comic. even more so than usual.

I'm gonna casually redrop a recommendation/reinforce Katie's recommendation for Undertale because really you should play it.
Also it's on Steam.

Are you sure this is a Fallout comic, Katie? Because this was my experience with Morrowind.

bodaciously EVERYONE is recommending this game, but NOBODY is telling me why I should play it or what is good about it.

Everyone just says "It's an RPG"

This has no bearing on being good or not.

SOMEONE TELL ME WHY IT IS GOOD

And then you play "Hardcore" mode and never pick up bullets.

There's a skeleton that talks in Comic Sans and another that talks in Papyrus; There's a tsundereplane which will "Run away! ...But not on purpose or anything."; A few other fun odds and ends.

I've played the demo & seen some screenshots from a friend who has it, can confirm it's worth getting, but if you're still hesitant just play the demo.

I'm a terrible hoarder as well. Deciding what's actually important to me can sometimes be an interesting challenge. Though, the only thing I don't like about weight systems is when you meet the cap, you're usually in a place where you're forced to either lose time or value. At least Torchlight and Path of Exile give you a fast travel to town, and the former gives you a cute ferret you can send to liquidate your loot for you if you can't be bothered.

To those of you who are hoarders, do not buy any of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. Not only is there a weight limit, but you also lose stamina faster with the more items you carry.

Also, first edit.

The lack of weight restriction is one of the many reasons i play fallout with tgm on all the time.

At least in Fallout you can just skip the transaction entirely and steal every merchant's caps in the first place.

But the Elder Scrolls series incentivizes you to do exactly what's shown in the comic, because you need to raise both your speech skill and your pickpocket skill.

This of course results in you throwing a lot of stuff away, but cheddar is worthless in Bethesda games anyway.

On the contrary, my good friend, everyone knows that physical combination of two halves of a cheese wheel equals a chemical reaction producing both a healing potion AND a bottle! :science:
