Architecture always makes me think about how the LEGO® Architecture sets look nice, but are rather pricy.

When you're playing Civilization,

History becomes your creation,

Learn to write before you can read,

And build the Taj Mahal right in Cleveland!

Nobody wants a knockoff Taj Mahal. "Well I could go to the first and best Taj Mahal OR I can go to the cruddy duplicate Taj Mahal what posers."

Thomas Jefferson messed up pretty bad to not recognize how foreign those words are.
Or is that George Washington? I can't tell because they're always wearing those powdered wigs.

Whatever, the joke has been around forever

In fact it's a recurring gif in a filename thread

Fixed, because I care about punchlines. They're so underprivileged on the Internet.

I kinda wish the wonder was exploding into a mass of gold coins.

That's what happens in the actual game.

And it is, if anything, even more absurd.

and this comic just appears right when archaeologists discover a second stonehenge, even bigger than the first

clearly civs just need to one-up the competition by building their wonder even bigger instead of just giving up

why isn't this an option

They were probably like "fuck this is too big, just bury it. Not enough good stones."
