Does she know that they are bringing Roy back for super smash bros 3DS edition? He is a downloadable fighter just like Lucas Mewtwo and Ryu. So I don't see why that hasn't been touched upon.

Yes, several hundred people made sure to tweet her about it, even though she could've been watching the video herself, as well as several differen't people on the forum already. She even drew a picture of Roy's face and posted it on Twitter.

Katie can't make a comic in a single day. Did you really expect the late Sunday/midnight Monday update to be something that was shown that day? We were lucky to have the 100th comic be a Mewtwo/Lucas comic when Lucas was only announced a few days before.

She also has a backlog of comics she's finishing/already finished. If she actually decides to put those off for a comic about Roy, then yes, you can expect a comic about Roy next week or the week after. But expecting one on the same day is just ridiculous.

This level of fanaticism just goes to show how powerful memes can become, friend. It'd be nice if we lived in a world where people could let things come as they come, and be as they will be. But one is, however, expected to pay immediate tribute to the all powerful Lord of Memes, and not just soon, but yesterday.

Try your own advice.
If you don't like a comic, don't just undermine it, explain how to improve that comic itself. Just undermining something with no feedback doesn't help in creating better comics.

I kinda did, though. I said the joke was uninspired and there was an unnecessary panel divide. I also forgot to say that she already kinda used this humor all the other times she/Norrin had Pokemon and water in the same panel.

However, since he said all comics featuring water(I was nice and only chose those with large bodies of water where the action was located), you'd need to add these two http://awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0&comic=061807 http://awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0&comic=062507 which leads me to believe he's either thinking someone else's comics, thinking of non-Cockfighting Society related comics with a similar context (ctrl+f wont be able to find those), or thinking incorrectly entirely.

I'm willing to upgrade the status from "bad at critical analysis" to "troll". For no other reason than persistent orneriness and he called out a negative reaction from the community in his original post.

Why is this debate seeping onto this thread, and not this week's comic's thread? This is about Roy remember?
